Books opened up new worlds for us this week. Each day, we shared a classic children’s story, then discussed the characters, settings, and morals. Inspired by “The Very Hungry Caterpillar,” we created a life-size caterpillar collage, and for “Where the Wild Things Are,” we made our own “Wild Thing” masks. Storytime was interactive, engaging, and helped nurture a love for reading.
